This Real Food Girl loves her salsa. My secret salsa love affair started when I had some at a local Mexican restaurant called Chi-Chi’s. I have no idea if Chi-Chi’s made authentic Mexican salsa or not, I just know I loved their salsa, and by the time my fajitas came sizzling down through the restaurant, I was full after eating 2 baskets of chips and 4 little containers of salsa all by myself.

Do you like peanut butter? I do. TSM also has a fondness for peanut butter. I don’t think he’s ever tried anything with PB that he hasn’t liked except a smoothie. Today was my birthday. Did the skies part while rays of sun shined through and birds sang and melodic choruses broke forth from the heavens? No you say? Yeah, didn’t happen here either. Chocolate Ho-Ho Cake- (Organic/GMO-Free)
On Christmas Eve my family gets together and everyone brings a dish to share. Each year I generally bring a dessert. Last year I went all out and made a 6 layer chocolate mousse cake with hazelnut japonaise drenched in a layer of ganache and chocolate shavings. It was decadence on a plate. Isn’t that a beautiful thing? I must say that a properly seared pork chop brings tears of happiness to my eyes.
