Chicken Salsa Verde with Cornbread Dumplings
Pretty much everyone loves chicken and dumplings. And almost everyone loves Mexican food. So why not combine the two and come up with a welcomed departure from the norm? I couldn’t come up with a good answer as to why I shouldn’t either, so I went ahead and made this for dinner last week. A seriously easy recipe to prep for and it’s even faster to put together. Comfort food, Southwestern flare, fast/easy prep and it comes together quickly? Um, SCORE!!

Clucker-Noodle Soup (GMO-Free)
I’m not normal- And because I’m not normal, I like to call foods by other names. For instance, the humble chicken. Since we eat chicken about 3 times a week I get tired of saying chicken and feel that maybe if I spruced up what I call it, it won’t seem like it’s the THIRD chicken dish I’ve made this week. Chicken Pomodoro Non-GMO
Happy Fast and Furious Friday everyone! Today I’m going to share this recipe with one of my favorite food blogs called The Food Renegade. TFR hosts a food blog carnival on Fridays, called Fight Back Friday where fellow (Renegade) food bloggers can share a link to a recipe or article on their blog. I love The Food Renegade because I consider myself a bit of a renegade. I am a lover of what we foodies call “SOLE” food. SOLE stands for Sustainable, Organic, Local, and Ethical.” I’m trying to cook with as many organic and non-GMO ingredients as I can find because I’m highly opposed to GMOs, and am trying to take control…

Curry-Cayenne Chicken Salad
Howdy! Boy, you guys are in for a real treat today. Curry-Cayenne Chicken Salad is one of The Stud Muffin’s favorite things to put between two slices of bread. It is packed with flavorful spices and it has a touch of heat. It’s also loaded with veggies, so that totally makes up for the fact that you will be using some mayonnaise in this recipe. This chicken salad tastes fantastic on toasted bread or wrapped in a tortilla with some crisp lettuce thrown in, or on regular sandwich bread.
