Italian Sausage and Gruyere Baked Omelet
Today is the perfect day to make breakfast for dinner. Do you love breakfast for dinner as much as we do? Back when I used to watch copious amounts of Food Network TV, I saw Giada make this dish and I knew it would be something that TSM would enjoy. I made very few changes to her recipe because for once the amounts on the recipe were accurate and the dish turned out. I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I look at recipes that celebrity chefs post online I have to scratch my head in wonderment when it comes to their ingredient amounts. It’s like- Seriously? Carrot Pineapple Bread
I like quick breads. I’m sure since I’ve already posted a muffin recipe and a banana bread recipe that you already knew that. I like them because they’re easy, quick (hellooo Capt’n Obvious), tasty, they make a good snack, and they make a good (Christmas) gift. I love receiving home-baked gifts, don’t you? This recipe is super…

Thankfully, he likes scones, which we’ve made plenty of lately so I thought I’d try my hand at making homemade muffins. Turns out, these homemade muffins are easy and fabulous! Yes, I *do* have a from scratch recipe for muffins from culinary school, but it’s one of those overly heavy, super dense, almost gummy types of mammoth muffins, and that’s not happy food in my opinion. I like my muffins…

The Stud Muffin Makes Manly Banana Bread
TSM (The Stud Muffin) was in the kitchen this weekend and decided to make some scones (from a mix) and his Manly Banana Bread (not from a mix). Each time he makes this bread he reminds me that he came from a long line of bakers. Keep in mind that not one family member from this long line ever worked in or owned a bakery- they simply just baked their own bread anddesserts.
