Fail-Proof Organic Pizza Dough
Here it is folks. Here it is! What exactly is here you ask? Let me tell you. Pizza dough. Yup. Homemade, fresh, tasty, free of funky, fake ingredients, pizza dough. Can you smell it? Mmm, is there anything better than the smell of fresh dough? Actually there is. That would be fresh dough baking in the oven. Now *that* is as good as it gets right there. I have tried several different pizza dough recipes over the years and I’ve run into the same problem with all of them. They suck. Too blunt for you? Sorry ’bout that. You go right ahead and get over that and we can move on. It seems…

Creamy Mushroom & Beef Stroganoff
Shazam America! This dish is FAB.YOO.LUSS! Hand to God, Scouts Honor, swear on someone’s Grandmammy’s grave FABULOUS! And I don’t like stroganoff, so that is saying something! Beef Stroganoff is one of TSM’s most favorite meals. The man has a serious thing for sour cream. He only eats Mexican food because he’s convinced sour cream exists solely to be a delivery system for the Mexican food. I on the other hand could live quite happily without having sour cream so I’ve always been torn when it comes to making Stroganoff for The Stud Muffin because he loves it and I can’t stand it. That is, until tonight. I’ve changed my mind and this…

Rich and Tasty Chocolate Syrup GMO-Free
Have you ever had a friend suggest that you make something, and you kind of hem and haw and scrunch your nose up at them? Yeah, so have I. And I openly admit I’m not going to do that again! I might miss out on something superchocolicious! Take this (beyond) easy chocolate syrup. It’s got 5 ingredients and one of them is water! I mean, *who* doesn’t have water on hand? My sincerest condolences if you don’t have any water on hand because this syrup is that good and you’re going to want to eat the whole jar. Hershey’s probably won’t want you to make this, but you should make it anyway. Live…

(Not Half Bad) Peanut Butter Cookies (Organic-GMO-Free)
Do you like peanut butter? I do. TSM also has a fondness for peanut butter. I don’t think he’s ever tried anything with PB that he hasn’t liked except a smoothie. He doesn’t care for PB in a smoothie. For some reason when it comes to peanut butter cookies, there is no love lost on me. I find this peculiar since I really do like peanut butter. I’ll eat a peanut butter cookie if I make a batch, but for the most part I make these because it is TSM’s favorite cookie and I enjoy spoiling him. I probably spoil him too much but he’s cute and stud muffinly, so I don’t see…

You say it’s your birthday (na-na-na-nuh- nahnah) It’s my birthday too! ♪ ♫ ♪
Today was my birthday. Did the skies part while rays of sun shined through and birds sang and melodic choruses broke forth from the heavens? No you say? Yeah, didn’t happen here either. Regardless of the fact that the sky didn’t part on my special day, I did get to go to a French restaurant with my mom and TSM. It was my present from my mom and step-dad. Sadly, he had to work today so he wasn’t able to come along, but I sent my mom home with a doggie bag of my dish so he could have a taste. I thought I’d share a review of the restaurant where we ate…

Chocolate Ho-Ho Cake- (Organic/GMO-Free)
On Christmas Eve my family gets together and everyone brings a dish to share. Each year I generally bring a dessert. Last year I went all out and made a 6 layer chocolate mousse cake with hazelnut japonaise drenched in a layer of ganache and chocolate shavings. It was decadence on a plate. This year I desired to do something much simpler, yet still really yummy. Enter the humble Ho-Ho. (That would be the snack cake Ho-Ho, not the street walking ho-ho.)

Pan Seared Pork Chops with Mustard Cream Sauce- (Organic/GMO-Free)
Isn’t that a beautiful thing? I must say that a properly seared pork chop brings tears of happiness to my eyes. If you’re a child of the 60s or 70s you probably ate your fair share of pork chops that were dry as saw dust because back then our folks were told to cook pork until bone dry and then cook it some more. That way, when you cut into it, you’ll start a small fire and you’ll know it’s safe to eat. Thankfully times have changed and we don’t have to torture ourselves with dried-up pork chops that resemble a leather flip flop. If you have a meat loving male in…

Italian Sausage & Spinach Lasagna Roll-ups (Organic/GMO-Free)
Cheeses, Italian sausage, spinach and pasta- It’s love on a plate!! This is one of my favorite go-to recipes when I’m not in the mood to bake up a huge pan of lasagna, yet I’m in the mood for some saucy, cheesy, noodley, meaty goodness.
